All moving parts operate smoothly
This rule is brass and boxwood and has large numbers - ENGLISH BLIND MAN'S RULE - is what it was called
It has a tight fit , great joints , straight edges , and all 3 alignment pins are present
The numbers are very easily visible on both sides, although the outside is slightly faded
We have not cleaned or restored this item in any way as we leave that up to the buyer
When fully opened it measures 24" long
Nice Patina inside
It's very straight, lighter on the inside fold area, some darkening of patina on the outside of the folded area
No breaks, cracks, repairs or warping
Brass has no corrosion
