VINTAGE Sargent No. 3408 Wood Bottom Smoothing Plane Type 2
I believe this is a type 2, made between 1902 and 1909
Wood bottom doesn't have cracks or splits, only the usual wear
Front end is stamped "Sargent & Co No. 3408"
Blade is also marked with the Sargent logo but difficult to see as is
Adjustment mechanisms works
with a 1.75" wide cut
CONDITION
Good
Good
Some jappaning is lost
Rusting on blade but rust can be removed
No other issues noted
