Two 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair Souvenirs
1. FORD TIMES NEW YORK and World's Fair Issue May 1964 57th year. Ride Walt Disney's Magic Skyway at the FORD Magic Rotunda! Ford motor company booklet from the 1964 World's Fair New York in Excellent condition. Ford car owners magazine Special edition packed with information about the New York World's Fair and all the exhibits and visiting New York. Car Ads, information on the "Thunderbird Classic" Golf tournament, the many wonders of Disney World, lots of color illustrations of various exhibits at the fair, etc. Lovely little magazine full of nostalgia in excellent condition.
2. A United States Stell Medal - The United States Steel Corporation (USS) built and donated the Unisphere to the 1964–1965 New York World's Fair, which took place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park: Unisphere: A 120-foot-tall, 12-story stainless steel model of Earth that served as the fair's centerpiece and visual logo. It was built on the foundation of the Perisphere from the 1939 World's Fair and surrounded by a pool and fountains. The Unisphere symbolizes the beginning of the Space Age and remains a permanent gift to the city of New York.
