The Stanley No. 84 brass-bound folding rule is:
- 2-foot, typically 4-fold (sometimes 6-fold variants exist)
- Made of boxwood with brass edges and joints
- Produced by Stanley Rule & Level Co. in New Britain, CT
- The “Sweetheart” logo dates it roughly to 1920–1935
That logo alone makes it more desirable than earlier or later plain-marked examples.
