This is a very rare Belcher Brothers Makers, New York two-foot (24-inch) ruler with Gunter brass slide
This square joint, unbound rule is fitted with a Gunter slide for performing mathematical calculations
The ruler is marked "BELCHER BROTHERS MAKERS" "NEW YORK"
Condition: No cracks to the wood or excessive wear to the ruler
Beautiful antique patina
