Stanley no. 49 gage (gauge) clamp for a brace auger-style drill bit (note that the gauge does not have the model number on it)
I believe the gauge will fit drill bits up to 1 inch
The tool appears to have seen very little, if any, use
There is a patent date of Oct. 11, 04 on both legs
It is perfect for accurately measuring the depth of your drill hole without the need for guesswork
